Alex W. Norlander concentrates his practice in real estate law, serving developers, institutional property owners, investors, and other commercial entities in a wide array of transactions. He assists clients with the acquisition, disposition, development, operation, and leasing of various types of commercial, retail, industrial, mixed-use, and residential real estate projects. Alex has substantial experience in commercial leasing transactions, negotiating leases with numerous national retail tenants on behalf of retail owners.
His representation spans to include a diverse blend of transactions, from the development and sale of luxury multi-family projects to complex leasing and sale transactions for receivership properties. Alex also advises clients on the structure and formation of entities for the purpose of acquiring, developing, and managing real estate. Additionally, he has experience representing and assisting clients on general corporate legal matters. As counsel to property management and brokerage companies, he has counseled clients in connection with landlord and tenant issues, third party claims, and licensing compliance as well.
Alex emphasizes practical and efficient solutions to his clients, while providing service in all phases of real estate transactions. He approaches his legal matters with a focus on detail, but does not lose sight of the big picture when advising his clients.
